Intento de Ayuda en la Macroplaza

Buenas noches, raza.

Vengo a contarles lo que me pasó hace un rato en la Macroplaza acá en Monterrey, un lugar al que suelo ir de vez en cuando. Ya saben, me gusta relajarme por ahí y disfrutar de la noche cuando no hay tanto ruido. Esta noche tenía unas cervezas encima, ya saben cuando se acerca el fin de semana, se le calienta la boca a uno. De repente, veo a un chavo joven caminando con cara de perdido. Se notaba que no era de por aquí.

El chavo iba todo nervioso, mirando su celular como si fuera a encontrar un mapa del tesoro ahí. Y de pronto oigo que está hablando solo o algo así, que no le queda batería, y pensé "capaz que necesita ayuda para cargar el celular". Yo no soy de los que se quedan sin hacer nada, y aunque tenía un poco de alcohol en el cuerpo, mis intenciones eran buenas.

Así que me acerqué para ofrecerle un cargador. Le grité algo así como "¡Oye, chavo! ¡Si quieres usar un cargador, yo tengo uno!". Pero el morro me vio con ojos de susto, como si fuera a atacarlo o algo. Se cambió de banqueta, y yo pensé que quizá no me había escuchado bien, así que crucé para decirle de nuevo. Pero en cuanto me acerqué, el morro echó a correr como si hubiera visto al diablo.

Ni siquiera tuve chance de explicarle que lo único que quería era ayudar. Me quedé en la banqueta pensando que a lo mejor se había asustado por mi aspecto o algo, pero pues no había sido mi intención. Igual, me reí un poco de la situación, porque vaya que tenía energía para correr.

Al final, decidí regresar a la banca en la Macroplaza y seguir disfrutando de la noche. Ojalá el chavo haya encontrado la manera de cargar su celular y regresar a casa seguro. A veces uno solo quiere ayudar, pero supongo que debo entender que no todos se sienten cómodos con un extraño ofreciéndoles ayuda en la oscuridad de la noche.
