Hello,
I am experiencing a significant issue with the main story missions in No Man's Sky. One of my main missions has disappeared because another main mission has duplicated and overlapped it. The missing mission sometimes appears when I start the game, showing me where to go, but it disappears as soon as I select another mission.
The duplicated mission is called "The Eternal Atlas." This problem is preventing me from progressing in the main storyline. Additionally, the Atlas mission itself is bugged; I haven't completed "The Purge," yet the mission is showing as more advanced than it should be, and I cannot access the Echoes content.
I would appreciate any assistance or guidance on how to resolve this issue.

Try continuing Expanding your base. That should lead back to the main quest. Atlas Eternal is a permanent quest where you visit the Atlas and present wonders for a few nanites. It will never go away, but I don’t think you should have it yet.
