¿Sus máximos favoritos para el triunfo final? 🎖️

  1. If this were three years ago, Roglic would certainly be the favourite to win. But, crashes notwithstanding, he hasn’t really looked his best this year. At Paris-Nice he finished 10th on GC, down 5:33 on winner Jorgenson. At Itzulia he started out with a win on stage 1, but then crashed out, which means we don’t really know how good he would have been otherwise. At the Dauphiné he looked to be in control, but then almost lost the race on the last stage when he cracked hugely. At the Tour he was kind of disappointing before he crashed out. He clearly couldn’t match Pog and Vingegaard, and he struggled even on the San Luca climb on stage 2 where we would normally expect him to do well. Even Evenepoel got away from him there, which is not what we would expect from Roglic on his best form.

Last year he was stronger than Kuss on the key climbs, but now he is coming back from another injury that may or may not still affect him, and he is on a different team. As a certain wise man tends to say: “It’s gonna be an interesting one.”

  2. Mas will 100% podium this. We’ve seen him before at his best level when he’s had an underwhelming Tour but has benefited at the Vuelta from having that racing in the legs without having had to go for GC. The hot conditions won’t bother him either.

  3. Pogi. Hear me out:

One of the UAE captains unfortunately tests positive for Covid. Pogi, while chilling on some
yacht with Urska, gets a desperate last minute call from his boss to jump in. He replies “you know what, why the fuck not” and makes history by becoming the first human ever to win the GT triple.
